A rough guide to hanging height Over a dining table or island, most people hang a pendant so the bottom of the shade sits about 75 to 85 cm above the surface. Where people walk underneath, leave at least 2 m of clear headroom. Your electrician can set the final drop at fitting.

About this piece

Description

A compact travertine-stone cylinder pendant topped with a solid wood cap — a small-scale hanging light that brings natural stone texture and a soft, restful glow to a bedside or reading corner.

Natural travertine stone cylinder shade, in Wide or Tall proportions
Solid wood cap in Oak or Walnut
Hardwired pendant, single E27 fitting
Suited to bedsides, reading corners and small hallways

Is a bulb included?

No — it takes a standard E27 bulb, sold separately. Warm white suits bedside reading.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It's a hard-wired pendant, so a qualified electrician should install it and set the drop height.

How big is it?

Two shapes — Wide at Ø12 × H10cm, and Tall at Ø11 × H16.5cm. Both are deliberately small-scale for a bedside, nook or hallway.

Can I hang a pair, one each side of the bed?

Yes, that's a common way to use it. Order two — each hangs from its own ceiling point.

What is it made from?

A cream travertine cylinder shade with a wood cap in oak or walnut.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

Travertine carries fine natural banding, so no two shades are quite the same.

Can I dim it?

No dimmer is built in. Use a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible dimmer switch — useful in a bedroom.

How do I clean it?

Dust with a dry soft cloth; no water or chemicals on the stone.

When will it arrive?

Delivery is free and tracked on every UK order. The estimate for the option you've chosen is Delivery in 5–10 working days. You'll get a tracking link by email once it's on its way.
