A rough guide to hanging height Over a dining table or island, most people hang a pendant so the bottom of the shade sits about 75 to 85 cm above the surface. Where people walk underneath, leave at least 2 m of clear headroom. Your electrician can set the final drop at fitting.

Hand-woven — small natural variations in every piece

Is a bulb included?

No — it takes a standard E27 bulb, sold separately. Warm white suits the honey glow of the weave.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It's a surface-mounted ceiling fitting, quick for a qualified electrician to install.

Does it hang low or sit close to the ceiling?

It's surface-mounted rather than a long-drop pendant, which makes it a good choice for lower ceilings, hallways and entryways.

What is it made from?

A natural woven rattan basket shade.

Will mine look exactly like the photo?

It's hand-woven, so small variations in weave and tone are normal and expected.

Can I dim it?

No dimmer is built in. A dimmable LED bulb with a compatible dimmer switch will give you control.

Will it work with UK wiring?

Yes — 220–240V UK mains.

How do I clean it?

Dust with a dry soft brush or vacuum on low, and keep it dry.

When will it arrive?
